Located in one of the most beautiful and culturally rich villages around Lake Atitlán, 4 Elementos Hostal is a space for travelers seeking rest, connection, and authentic cultural exchange. Our small and cozy hostel offers a conscious stay where people from around the world share knowledge and experiences with the community.

🛏️ Rooms
We offer three rooms: Agua, Fuego, and Tierra. Two are shared dorms with bunk beds, and one is a private room with a double bed. All rooms include hot showers, clean sheets, soap, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

☕ Common Area
A warm and welcoming space with sofas, free tea and coffee, drinking water, books, and board games — perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views of the montains and the vibrant village.

🧵 Classes and Connection Through Threads
Join our weaving, embroidery, and natural dye workshops with local women. Through threads, stories, and colors, we build community and share who we are. You can also cook traditional dishes, join family-style dinners, and enjoy brunches filled with flavor and joy.

🚣‍♀️ Explore the Beauty of San Juan
Don’t miss the early morning hike to the Mayan Face — a magical view over the lake — or the chance to go kayaking between volcanoes and calm waters. Ask at the front desk to reserve your spot.

🎨 Local Design with Purpose
Everything you see in the hostel has a story. The macramé art, furniture, pillows, and many details have been handmade by local artisans from the Lake Atitlán region. With each stay, you support the talent, creativity, and fair work of our community.

Check-in: 2 PM to 8 PM | Check-out: by 11 AM (luggage storage: Q5 per hour)

Quiet hours: 10 PM to 7 AM

No smoking, alcohol, or sexual activity in the dorms

No outside visitors allowed

Lockers available outside the rooms

No eating or drinking inside the rooms
