Jacky is a sweetheart. He'll literally do anything he can to help your trip around Yuanyang be the best it can be. Amazing location and the rooftop is great for sunrises and sunsets. Rooms are good. Recommended.

Awesome place to stay in if visiting Yuanyang. Situated right in the middle of a local village which allows you to see their daily lives (unlike other fake ‘ancient towns’ in China) right next to endless rice fields. Lots of hiking opportunities around.

Jacky's guesthouse was the best guesthouse that we stayed in! Jacky is a very kind host who speaks English. He gave us very useful recommendations and helped us with everything that we needed. He and his adorable dog Dodo even joined us for an amazing hike through the rice terraces. The guesthouse was very cosy, which a comfy common room where one could meet people. Our room was very big and had an astonishing view of the right terraces. The beds were comfortable and had heating blankets.
