Metropolis Hotel

This hotel catfished us, the rooms look nothing like the photos, they are so tiny, my friend and I had to put our suitcases on the bed every time we needed anything, because the bed took up the whole tiny room. We could hear every footstep outside our room, and On the street below. The door handle to the bathroom fell off in my hand. The tiles and plaster was falling off the walls. The location was very convenient, and the view from the roof was super cool, the staff was lovely, too.

Great hotel for the price and the location couldn't be any better for exploring athens. Every member of staff was very friendly and helpful and helped us enjoy Athens even more.

Heart of Athens-midpoint of Syntagma, Plaka and Monastiraki-excellen location! Balcony w lovely view of Acropolis. Street noise and cathedral bells marking every half hour; it grew on me as charm but light sleepers beware. Small but functional room. Facilities good: TV, AC, fridge, safe, BR (good shower) in unit, daily linen service, small elevator, luggage storage. Not much common area (hotel not hostel). Staff friendly. They keep track if you're in or out of your room as you pass by reception.
