A 30 minute hike down an ancient Mayan pathway leads to our beautiful and secluded little piece of paradise. At Ch'i Bocol Community Hostel we have a full service restaurant and bar, a nice common area with several hammocks and other comfortable seats, and amazing company. We pride ourselves in making you feel at home, no matter where you are from and how far you have traveled to get here.

All of our accommodations are private or shared cabins which are spread across a 2 acre piece of land. They are quite spacious and comfortable, with several windows to let the cool breeze in. Our dorms include lockers for all of your valuables, and all cabins include power outlets to charge your electronics.

Ch'i Bocol Community Hostel is located deep in the heart of the Guatemalan jungle, with a creek on one side of the property, and the beautiful Cahabon River on another. Only a few minute walk from our cabins is a natural swimming pool on the edge of a beautiful waterfall.

Loved my stay in the jungle off the beaten track (a half-hour trek through muddy paths to get to it, but worth the effort for sure). The place is very chilled, spacious dorm, great shower pressure (cold water only). Food is cooked on site (extra) which was simple and tasty. The hosts and staff are very friendly. You can book your day at Semuc Champey through the hostel and walk to it and float back in rubber tubes (great fun). If you like places in nature, this is the place...

Amazing hostel we loved our stay here. All the staff are really friendly and make the stay great. The rooms are really nice and cool at night, you get a nice breeze coming through and they have fans, really comfy beds too! The food and drinks are great and really reasonable considering everything has to be carried in and big portions too ! The view from the hostel onto the river is beautiful, a highlight of the trip ! A special thank you to Eva who was so kind and helpful !
