Sagg Eco Village

SAGG Eco Village is a regenerative retreat offering recreational farm stays, day expeditions, and immersive group experiences rooted in nature, culture, and community. We host individual travellers and small groups for short or long stays, gatherings, walks, and slow, nature-based recreation.

This is a place to step out of crowded, artificial environments and spend time in a living landscape. A natural farm and cultural retreat built using mud, stone, and timber, our spaces reflect traditional village architecture paired with simple modern comforts. The setting is open, quiet, and intentionally designed to help you slow down, breathe, and reconnect. Farm-to-table meals, prepared using traditional recipes, are not only nourishing and delicious but designed to heal.

Located in the Himalayan foothills of Kashmir, we offer private farm stays as well as shared male and female dorm accommodation, with views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Guests have access to shared recreational areas and community spaces for rest, reflection, and conversation.

Experiences here are gentle and non-extractive. You may explore independently or with facilitation—quiet village walks, mountain trails, birdwatching, natural farming, pottery, cultural explorations, or simply sitting with nature. Activities are seasonal, optional, and respectful of local ecology.

It is a place for calm, reflection, and meaningful time immersed in culture and nature.
