Close to the airport, clean comfortable beds, very kind staff, parking option, nice hot showers and a kitchen. Yes, it’s near the airport so you will hear planes but I’ve always been able to sleep well here. And yes, it’s a hostel, but they also have two nice private rooms.

Old, outdated, depressing, nothing like a hostel in a tourist area. The only reason to stay here is if you need a place to sleep before an early morning flight. No bar, no activities, no vibe. Just a calm night. I took an Uber to nearby Alajuela to walk around the town square.
