We stayed only one night in a private room but it did the job. Hostel was empty but staff were super duper friendly. Great rooftop looking out to the sea with excellent wifi. Aircon is great. The area felt slightly sketchy at night.

I spent three nights at the Terraza Puerto hostel and wished it could have been more. I had a great time in Puerto but also really enjoyed the life at the hostel. I knew I was going to enjoy my stay when I arrived. Catalina waited until past 11pm for me. She was a treasure and worked hard to check up on all the guests, She even took us on a day trip to Rio Totolapan. My room was huge and clean. The bed was comfy and the A/C and a ceiling fan kept it comfortable. Expect to get around by taxi to go to places like Zicatela which is a do-able 30 minute walk but a sweaty one even in the morning. At night you really should return by taxi. Loved this place.
