Originally a Coast Guard station, HI Truro Hostel is the farthest hostel out on the “arm” of Cape Cod. Located in the Cape Cod National Seashore, the hostel is just steps from spectacular Ballston Beach. Large picture windows provide a breathtaking view of the ocean and dunes from the spacious common area. Parking is free, and bed linens and a bath towel are included in the overnight rate.

The hostel’s surrounding area also provides access to freshwater ponds, bike paths, and nature trails throughout the National Seashore. Provincetown is just 10 miles up the road.

Please note that the hostel is located 2 miles (3.2km) from the nearest bus stop.

HI Truro расположен в фантастическом месте недалеко от пляжа, с невероятно дружелюбным и услужливым персоналом. Гости ценят чистые удобства и хороший Wi-Fi. В некоторых номерах может быть очень жарко, а варианты завтрака были ограничены.

This is an awesome facility. It is very clean. It has an inviting atmosphere. The kitchen is well supplied with spices and dishes and coffee and tea to make. It is within walking to the beach. The staff was helpful and friendly. I totally will come back if my schedule allows it in the future. It is a good location for going to see things here on Cape Cod.

I visit at least once each summer and am never disappointed. For Summer 2026 the staff have done a great job with the facility, professional cleaners came in while I was there and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

What a great place and a wonderful stay. Fantastic staff snd guests. I loved it. It would be helpful if the bus could do a drop off and a pick up!
