Sandbar Beachfront & Restaurant is a thrifty traveler's/backpacker’s dream come true. We are located in San Pedro on Ambergris Caye, on the water and priced for even the most budget conscious. Our bar and restaurant will keep you full of pizzas and rum! We are Gold Standard!

We are located on the beach, a five minute walk to the center of town. Our island is a 90 minutes by boat ride from Belize City and is one of the main tourist destinations in Belize. We are a 10 minutes walk from Caribbean Sprinter water taxi, approximately 10 mins drive from San Pedro Express water taxi and 5 minutes taxi cab ride from the airport. Go north from the airport until you get to the traffic circle and go right to the beach. Then make a left and we are the second property on the left.

Each bed comes with its own locker, privacy curtain, reading light, shelf and electrical plug! The rooms are on the second floor over our restaurant/bar. Air Conditioning is standard and free WI-FI throughout. Common areas include rooftop pool and bar.

Check out before 11:00.

Guests will be charged for the total price of reservation 14 days before arrival date.
Taxes not included: 9.00%
Serive Charge not included: 5.00%

Cancellation policy: 14 Days before arrival.

No show or Cancellation within 7 days will result in charge in FULL.

No curfew.
Reception Service Available from 7am to 12 Midnight.
No children under the age of 17 allowed in dorms

A Note on Sargassum
San Pedro, Ambergris Caye is currently experiencing the seasonal presence of sargassum seaweed, a natural phenomenon affecting coastlines across the Caribbean region. While we make every effort to manage conditions on our beachfront, sargassum is an environmental occurrence beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and assure you that the beauty and warmth of our island remain unaffected.
