The Shire Guesthouse

In a great location near the center of the old town, adjacent to the UN Irish Pub (very good Western and Thai food, drinks) and Crusty Loaf bakery (fresh bread, cakes, pies),

The Shire’s big garden area is surprisingly quiet. The rooms, Air-conditioned room and Fan room are large and all have ensuite private bathrooms with hot water facilities and an open communal balcony.

In the undercover dining area, guests can help themselves with the complimentary Tea, Coffee, and Cold drinking water provided. There is a 7 /11 just across the road for any further requirements and the Sunday Walking St market is just one street away.
We also have our own Tours Booking Office to assist you with further travel plans/tickets or to assist you in visiting the many Chiang Mai attractions or activities on offer.

1) Check-in from 2:00 p.m.
2) Check out 11:00 a.m.
3) Reception desk working hours 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Please let us know if you will arrive at the hostel after 18:00.p.m.
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash and credit card
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 24 hours before arrival.
6) Breakfast is not included for all room types.
7) NO smoking in the Room, but have a smoking area.
8) Please note SOME rooms do not have air-con only FAN. Please make sure before making a reservation.
