Hostel Suites Palermo is located in "the best area in the city for cafes and place to go out in the night", according to our guests, who also say they appreciate the free breakfast of "bread, coffee, tea, chocolate milk, jams, butter and dulce de leche". Visitors tell us the friendly staff are "tirelessly helpful". This clean and safe hostel serves cheap dinners three times a week and features a comprehensive weekly events calendar and under-bed lockers. We like the art deco-influenced style of the building.

Our very knowledgeable staff will always give the best tips about different activities that can be done in town as well as give feedback regarding places to visit within and outside of Buenos Aires.

This place is ideal for backpackers wanting a laid-back and quiet hostel.

I booked for my friend and I (both young female travellers) a bed each which were purposely in the same room. However, when we got to the hostel, we were split up into two different rooms. I asked to change this as this was not what we paid for, but they did not accommodate to our request. Instead I got put in a room with three older men and my friend got put in a room with an elderly couple. I also found that my bed had bedbugs. Overall, not a pleasant stay.

I think one of our best features is all the extras we've got, like free luggage storage, free Internet and Wi-Fi, our laundry service and our movie room. Our location is also great; the Palermo district is well-known in Buenos Aires for its great variety of international restaurants, bars, art, crafts and fashionable clothes shops. The Buenos Aires Zoo is only five blocks away, and Plaza Serrano and the Eva Peron Museum are just 10 blocks away. I particularly recommend that people make sure to visit Plaza Serrano. I'd say we're ideally suited for couples and groups of friends aged 25+.
