NOTICE: Houston-city locals MUST book 48 hours in advance and can only stay in a private room. The max stay for locals is 2 nights.
PAYMENT NOTICE: The deposit you pay at the time of booking is Hostelworld's commission (that does not go to the hostel). Wanderstay Houston Hostel will charge the equivalent of one night's stay at the time of your booking unless you've booked a non-refundable rate in which we will charge your entire stay.

2. If you would like gated parking, you must let us know 24 hours in advance of your check-in.
3. You must include a VALID phone number in your booking details.
4. You MUST include the billing address associated with the credit or debit card that you would like to use or your transaction may decline.

Discovery Green: 1.5 miles away, Toyota Center: 1.2 miles away, BBVA Compass Stadium: 1.4 miles away, Minute Maid Park: 1.6 miles away, George R Brown Convention Center: 1.8 miles away, and NRG Stadium: 6 miles away.

Payable Now= Hostelworld's Commission (this part does NOT go to the hostel)
Payable On Arrival= This is the amount you owe directly to the hostel. Please keep in mind non-refundable bookings are charged the total amount at the time of check-in. For standard bookings, we charge the equivalent of one night's stay per guest at the time of your booking.

**Please note: The name on the card used to make a reservation MUST match the guest's name.**
Please prepare to show us a valid driver's license, ID, or passport, as well as the credit/debit card that you used to make your reservation.
No curfew.
No pets allowed.
No smoking allowed, except in designated outdoor areas.
The maximum period of stay is of 14 days per calendar year.
Overnight guests must be 18+. If traveling in a group, identification and a registration form will be required from each traveler at check-in.
Parking:
Street Parking is available and free. There are 3 gated parking spots available for an additional $10 per night on a first-come, first-served basis (payment for parking spots can be made during check-in). We encourage biking, walking, and public transit for getting around. We do have bikes available for rental on a first-come, first-served basis.
Housekeeping:
Sheets, pillow, and blanket on a pre-made bed, and a towel and washcloth are provided to each guest. Long stays will receive a sheet change mid-way through their visit.
Payment only by Debit or Credit Card, we do not accept Cash!!

As far as I'm aware, there were no staff present on-site throughout my entire stay. Although it was during their normal check-in hours, no staff were present when I first arrived. When I called them to receive the gate/door codes to let myself in, the person I spoke with was unfriendly and annoyed. Over the following few days, I didn't see a single staff member once, and the bathrooms were never cleaned- I saw the same stains every day. Another guest I spoke with had the exact same experience.

Kelly and Jessica were so lovely and helpful. The woman who answers the emergency line is the rudest, most condescending person I've ever dealt with in over 10 years of hostels. Would rather argue than try and kindly assist you.
The floor and table in my room was dirty. The bathrooms aren't clean either. Needs better management.
The decor, layout of the place & list of recommendations is really good! The potential to be a super dope hostel is there. Regular cleaning is a must!
