Atelier is a capsule hotel located in the heart of Chinatown, an area which is amongst the city's most atmospheric areas. The area is famous for its colourful heritage buildings and old shophouses. Atelier sits in a beautiful pre-war shophouse that was built in the early 1900's. It was formerly a medical hall dealing in the retail of traditional chinese medicine as well as a former jeweler retail store. One of Atelier's bedrooms in fact is in the original vault where jewels were once kept!

What's better than a good cup of coffee with warm buttery croissants to start the day? Atelier is situated above a beautiful French themed cafe called Madame Ooze and it is most known for its Ice Cream and Croissants. It opens daily and it serves beautiful cakes and pastries as well which would be perfect for an afternoon tea.

Staff were really friendly and it was in a good location. However, it was very hard to socialise because the social area is also a public cafe. I stayed on the ground floor and the shower was in the toilet that cafe guests could use. The washing machine was only for staff even though it is highlighted as a facility on the hostelworld app. Lots of dust has built up and the kitchen area isn't great.

Incredible staff, so welcoming and gives you a proper introduction of places to go in SIngapore. you can always enjoy a good conversation with them for the traveling stories and places they’ve experienced and the recommendations. Thanks Daniel and Dean. The location is perfect, close to several metros, and also a hawk center. right in the middle of Chinatown. The facility is clean and well managed. I like the NFC system as well, for both entrance and personal locker Definitely will come back

One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at! Deen and the rest of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they go above and beyond by sharing excellent local itineraries at no extra cost. The breakfast is delicious, and the location is very convenient, with easy access to public transportation. I would definitely recommend staying here!
