The Butterfly Hostel Pai is a friendly hostel, bar, and restaurant located in the stunning natural beauty of Pai, Thailand.
Nestled up against a backdrop of mountains with views across the rice fields, and beautifully tucked underneath the famous White Buddha. Our location is perfect for those wanting to be close to town but in a chilled and relaxed location.
We are not a party hostel, but we have fun, our bar has a selection of books, board and card games as well as a pool table.
Proud to say we have the most comfortable beds in Pai, with every bed being a pocketsprung mattress for that at home feel. We have now added lockers to all dorm rooms.
Let us be your home while you're exploring this beautiful part of Thailand. We have an on-site restaurant offering breakfast and Carribbean food as well as a welcoming team who will help you get settled, plan your stay and excursions and help you get accustomed to the ways of Northern Thailand.
We have areas to hang out in the shade, comfy lounge and chill areas and a bar as well as our onsite 'Jerk' restaurant.
Bar area is closed from 11pm to 7am

3) Reception working hours: 7:00 to 21:00
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash only.
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 3 days in advance prior to arrival.

My husband and I stayed in a private bungalow and it was perfect! Beautiful grounds, friendly staff, and nice communal area with coffee and tea in the morning. Slightly outside of the main town area but only about a 10-15 minute walk to the night market. Also very close to bom bowls and earth tone!

We had a great time at the butterfly hostel. The place is super pretty with incredible views, and the crowd there is amazing. It is a great mix of people who got stuck in Pai (this seems to happen often as it is a great place), folks just passing by and the awesome staff (a big SO to Nim, Phon, Jade Baptiste and the rest).
We were here for Loy Kratong, and Nim and Phon showed us how to made our own Loy Kratong and put it in the river :).

I enjoyed my stay very much, though there are no curtens between the 3 beds for more privacy I liked it to sleep in the very comfort bed. I really recommend this hostel for other travelers. The staff is also very friendly and helps for any questions.
