The number one social hostel in Gothenburg! Join one of our free walking tours, a great way to enjoy and explore the city. Discover the nightlife of the city with our free social events, such as karaoke and barhopping. Hang out in charming, shared areas at the hostel, we offer a pool table, foosball, gym and sauna. Secure with manned reception day and night.
We are an eco-friendly hostel located in Linnéstaden; the southwest part of the city. In this area you will find Haga; with cute boutiques and cosy “fika” spots. Or, if you prefer, the vibrant party street “Andra lång” with loads of bars and inexpensive restaurants. Most sights in the city are reachable by foot or, why not, with our rentable bikes. If you want to enjoy some beautiful Swedish nature close to the city, the botanical garden, leading to the nature reserve Änggårdsbergen, begins a short walk away from the hostel. There are also great tram links close by if you would like to visit one of the many islands in the archipelago.
The hostel is a great meeting place, you are guaranteed to meet travellers from all over the world. We have several common areas where you can hang out with fellow travellers: a large, fully equipped guest kitchen and you can use our high-end sauna for free every night. Or why not challenge your new friends on our foosball game or pool table?
Facilities:
We offer gender specific dorms with 4 or 6 beds in each and private rooms for 1 – 6 persons. We also have some rooms including ensuite for up to 4 people.
All the beds in our shared dorms come with shelves, cloth hangers, a dimmable reading lamp and electrical plugs. You either have lockers in the room (operated with your key card) or a lockable box under your bed (requires a padlock).
If you book a bed in a dorm or room without private bathroom, you will find plenty of bathrooms in the corridor close to your room.
Feel free to borrow hair dryers, iron and ironing boards and games from the reception.

If you are out of clean clothes, you can rent washing machine and dryer for 65 SEK (including detergent).

Every day we offer an eco-friendly breakfast buffet with vegan options for 115 SEK! The buffet is served 7-10 on workdays and 8-11 on weekends.
We love bikes and have bike enthusiastic owners. Therefore, we are an extra bike friendly hostel. We offer storage in a safe bike room equipped with tools and a work stand for bike reparations. You can wash your bike on the frontside of the hostel and you may even bring your bike to some of our guest rooms.
If aren’t travelling with your own bike, we have city bikes to rent, 30 kr/hour or 150 kr/day. Just come by the reception to book one!

I loved this hostel! Bedrooms seem basic but have everything you need, and the shared bathrooms are clean and always available. They have a good kitchen and other facilities which I didn’t use. I really liked the location, walkable into the main part of the city and would 100% recommend the pub crawl! Friendly staff and met some great travellers!

The room was very hot and I got bitten by mosquitos because the windows were open. The light came shining in at 5am and the construction work outside the window started at 7am. Bathrooms didn’t have enough counters to put my clothes/ toiletries and I dropped things. There is no lift but the reception staff offered to carry my suitcase if needed. Didn’t seem very social but the kitchen seemed good. Nice and close to the free zoo. Compared to other modern hostels, it is expensive for what it is.
