Hostelworld says

The staff of the Lisboa Central Hostel have an extremely high rating on Hostelworld, no doubt due to their friendliness and vast knowledge of Lisbon. They also have free milkshakes on Mondays and free soup on chosen days and one Hostelworld user said the free breakfast of fruit pancakes was the ?icing on the cake? of a ?faultless? stay. We like that they offer lots of little extras to their guests, from cheap sangria and beer to pub crawls and free popcorn on movie nights.

This hostel was amazing. The staff were incredibly helpful and they had activities going on each day which encouraged you to talk with other travellers, perfect atmosphere if you’re travelling alone. However, even if you’re not travelling alone, this place is perfect as well. The location was great, a few minute walk from the metro. Overall, I have nothing bad to say about this hostel and if I ever come back I’ll definitely be staying here again.

Lisboa Central Hostel says

We're a small hostel that likes to treat every guest as part of our family. The Portuguese are known for their hospitality so we treat them according to Portuguese traditions, call them by their names and try to make them feel at home. I think that someone that's travelling likes to feel welcomed and likes to find a home-like atmosphere that makes them feel comfortable. We have daily activities to encourage interaction amongst the guests - things like sangria happy hour to some liquor, wine and Portuguese food tastings, movie nights, milkshakes for the hot days, hot drinks for the cooler days, and cupcakes and soups. Plus there's movies, cards, video games and pub crawls. It's pretty entertaining around here. We're in Marques de Pombal, the centre of the city, a few minutes away from downtown and the historic area, and a short bus ride from Belem and metro trip from Nation's Park. When people ask me what they should do here, I usually say that Lisbon is a city for walkers - its typical neighbourhoods are inviting for long walks and every day you discover something new.
