Lovely staff, making the effort to make my stay comfortable, and great location. Homely atmosphere and unique style as some of the decor is repurposed from the Beirut blast.

The staff were wonderful and we liked the atmosphere, but the bathrooms were not clean. My room was very hot and stuffy, so I did not sleep well. At no fault of the hostel, the power was also off during the night. Overall, I am sorry to say that we did not have a very good experience.

Hostel staff were very nice and accomodating. I got sick during my stay and had to leave for a hotel and they refunded me without even asking. The immediate area outside the hostel is very residential and gives you a peek inside daily life in Beirut. It’s also very close to Mar Mikhael/Armenia street which are great dining/drinking spots. Hostel environment was fairly social so you could make friends. Do expect to be without AC for a few hours every night due to electricity shutoffs, but its not the hostel’
