Welcome to Greengos Hotel, a solar-powered hostel located just a 10-minute walk from the world-famous Semuc Champey Natural Monument.

Whether you're looking to relax by our saltwater pool, explore the natural wonders of Semuc Champey, meet fellow travellers, or join one of our nightly social events, Greengos is the perfect place to experience one of Guatemala's most spectacular destinations.

Choose from modern capsule dorms, budget-friendly social dorms, semi-private rooms, or comfortable private bungalows surrounded by lush jungle. Enjoy our Mediterranean-inspired restaurant, wood-fired pizzas, craft cocktails, and cold beers in a beautiful riverside setting designed for both relaxation and adventure.

Beyond Semuc Champey itself, we offer our own guided K'anba Cave, Extreme Tubing, and Cacao Tours. In the evenings, we host classic hostel games and unique social activities, creating the perfect atmosphere to meet travellers from around the world.

Greengos is completely off-grid, powered by solar energy and featuring Starlink satellite internet, offering a unique jungle experience without sacrificing modern comforts.

Very disappointing experience despite the good reviews. Several people in our group developed serious stomach issues, which is especially concerning as the hostel is basically the only place to eat. The biggest issue, however, was the attitude of management when problems were raised. Instead of addressing concerns professionally, we were met with condescension and, in my case, even told I had “bad energy.” Guests should be able to raise legitimate concerns..

Amazing location right next to Semuc Champey. Good atmosphere and evening events, music is quite loud if you want to chill. One thing is there isn’t any affordable options on the menu and due to the location that’s the only place you can eat. The cheapest is a panini for 35Q.

The place was a dream, beautiful area with a lovely pool which was both relaxed and good fun at night thanks to Naomie on the pool bar. Did the trivia night which was great, aswell as killer pool. Frito really made my experience unbelievable aswell, thanks to his kindness and adding another level of great energy. So a massive thanks to Greengos and to Frito and Naomie for making my friends and I have an awesome trip.
