Our concept at JO&JOE VIENNA is hereby as mentioned unique in the world! We share the new "HÜS" at Vienna's Westbahnhof with the world's first inner-city IKEA and are located on the 5th and 6th floor, but also have a beer garden on our 1800m² roof terrace on the 7th floor with bars in converted shipping containers. Sounds amazing? Yes it is!!!

Here you will find the first proof why our concept is "OPEN HOUSE". You'll find our 24-hour reception, our bar with a huge bar and beer wall, our restaurant with national/ international specialities and our huge event area, which offers a variety of daily and weekly events (karaoke/live music/dj sets etc.). In this area, all Viennese and our guests are invited to enjoy their time and meet people from near and far!
6th floor:
Our Chill&Snack corner:
This area is exclusively reserved for our guests and only accessible with your key card. Here you will find our snack kitchen where you can prepare your own snacks and drinks, our huge pizza bed and our chill-out corner where you can spend time in peace to work, read or just enjoy your favourite Netflix series, no one will disturb you here!
7th floor:
Here you will find the largest, freely accessible roof terrace in Vienna with over 1800m², which offers a unique view over the rooftops of Vienna! On this huge, green rooftop with beer garden and 4 extraordinary shipping containers, there is always something going on, especially in the evenings! Our colleagues are just waiting here to spoil you with the finest drinks and food, so that the morning/lunch and especially the evening in Vienna will be indescribably beautiful!

I thought the room was so good and the place was very clean. One of the most modern hostels i’ve stayed in.
only issue, there was a catwalk event in the reception area which made security to the building so weird. would’ve preferred warning as music didn’t stop till after 12-1am too

I don't know how I feel about this hostel. Rooms were clean (minus some strange red ink that was all over the floor near my bed for 3 days, indicating that they don't mop very often).
Rooms were most definitely spacious, mine had 2 ensuite bathrooms but in one of the bathrooms there was no hooks to hang your towel or clothes on which was quite impractical.
My under bed locker was faulty so when I slid it closed the latch didn't line up properly. I had to force it shut and it was extemely loud

Property is very near to the train station. Traveling around the night is safe and easy. Staff is nice, place is clean. Sadly no free breakfast. For me wifi didn’t work much. The VIEW from the dorm is AMAZING ! The common area is public space, so plenty of events happen there. You have to pay for the most of them. Terrace is nice, can be accessed easily. There’s an IKEA store below hostel, you can roam around 4-5 stories of IKEA store within the hostel. Overall, good experience. Will recommend.
