About

A few things to know before you book: our reception is open 09:00–21:00 and not 24 hours. We don't offer early or late check-in or self-check-in. It takes time to get from either of Rome's airports to the city center, so please plan accordingly. Every hostel is different and runs differently, and we want your stay to be smooth from the start. Please take a few minutes to read through our description and our House Rules before you book.

Since 1999, we've been a small, family-owned hostel located near Rome's central train station, Termini. When you walk in, you'll likely be greeted by Linda, one of the owners, our manager, Yuli, or one of our rotating volunteers. Our long-time housekeepers, Lea and Mery, keep everything clean and comfortable. After 25+ years, we still love what we do, and we're proud and happy to welcome travellers of all ages and nationalities.

We have a range of room types to suit different needs and budgets: dorm rooms (including female-only dorms) and private rooms with shared or private bathrooms. We're a small, intimate place and we welcome solo travelers, couples, and small groups, but please note that we don't accommodate larger groups of more than 3 people traveling together.

Our common areas include a courtyard garden, an indoor lounge open all day, and a self-catering kitchen for guests staying in our main area and a small kitchenette for guests in our upstairs area. We don't serve breakfast, but you're welcome to prepare your own meals. We're not a party hostel and don't have a bar, but we do love bringing guests together. As a small hostel with a close-knit group of guests, we do our best to encourage that connection through weekly activities for anyone who wants to join, like Aperitivo/Happy Hour, Social Walks and more.

The Beehive was an amazing place to stay! It's located just a 5-minute walk from Termini Station. I highly recommend joining their Whatsapp Group as the staff are friendly and engage with guests frequently. This was my first visit to Rome and their walking tour helped me get a grasp of the city. Facilities were very clean, never had an issue the 3 days I was there. Dorms were very spacious and comfy. Great for solo travelers and small groups. A++

We had a great stay at The Beehive. It's major advantage is location: just two blocks from Roma Termini which makes both getting there easy and travelling around while in Rome easy. The room was large and comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the bathrooms clean. The staff were friendly and provided useful information and tips on visiting Rome. I would stay here again and highly recommend it to others spending time in Rome.
