Very good location and cozy neighborhood. Walking distance to everything you want to explore as a tourist. There was a Pizza-restaurant outside the building which made it a little bit noisy during the evening, buts that’s pretty mandatory if you live in Trastevere. The host was very nice and helpful. The room definitely could have been cleaner though. We lived at entrance level and it smelled a bit like mold and was very moist. It wasn’t that bad but made the ratings a little bit lower.

The location and staff (Lucia) were lovely and attentive via text message. Cannot fault these at all. However the guesthouse itself needs some attention. The hallway and room smells quite strongly, mostly of cannabis, but also very strongly of damp. The cleanliness of the room was okay although fixtures and fittings were sometimes hanging off the wall. Toilet flush had electricity running through it that was supposedly fixed while we were out but was electric shocking us in the morning.

Overall very pleasant stay. Host arranged a self check in for me and was very responsive when I struggled to find the place or the specific door in the building. The property should be fully booked but I didn’t see the other travelers so it’s a quiet and short stay for me. Location wise, Trastevere is for those who really want to explore the neighborhood. Otherwise, you need to be really prepared to do a lot of walking crossing the river if you’re using Trastevere as the main base for sightseeing.
