Looking for a central location in the Scottish Highlands which is friendly and informal? Ossians is the place, right in the centre of Fort William and close to all amenities.
At the end/start of the west Highland Way and Great Glen Way. Only a 5 minute walk to train and bus stations. Good selection of shops, restaurants and bars right beside us.

Ossians offers town centre location with local staff . Rooms vary in size and number to accommodate, but all are en suite with TV and tea tray.

This hotel is unclean and unloved. Sheet missing after one night, broken and soiled furniture and surfaces, floors and walls. Electric appliences not working or broken in contacts, the list goes on. Too bad that this hostel has such a great location, it means that it will always be crowded though no revenue goes into improving the establishment.

Very good location, free parking. Uncomfortable bed, old and boring rooms with the basin in the room... Insecure lock on the door. Terrible elevator! In need of restoration all over. But, OK for one/two nights. Nice staff!

Showers were like warm, looked like blood underneath a bed sheet, smells a bit funny, really dated, cheap mattress and think the £170 for one night is steep
