The hostel has a serious management problem. When I arrived I was placed in a room without AC even though I had payed extra for the deluxe room. I had to argue for my right to the room I had payed for which shouldn't have to be the case. Moreover the toilet door was broken as it locked people inside and it was not safe. The problems kept occurring so I asked to have a refund as I wanted to change hostel but was declined. The next day a male guest was allowed a refund the same minute he asked.

I’ve stayed at La Redonda several times and always had a great experience. The vibe is cool, the staff is friendly & the two owners, Lu and Anna, are very nice & helpful. The hostel is really clean, thanks to Carmen! Yes it is a party hostel, but it is so much more. I built some generous and real connections there that will last forever. The rooms are clean, have AC & all the basics like curtains. It’s in the heart of Sayulita so everything is max. 10min walking distance. Highly recommended!
