We felt very unwelcome. We asked the staff to turn down the music when we had dinner and one of them asked us to move somewhere else. The food was so bad, both breakfast and the pizza. We cooked our own food in the guest kitchen which had barely any supplies. And only one small light in the evening. We had to use our phones for light. We wanted to refill our water bottle but was told it was only for the staff. Guests have to buy small overpriced bottles. Not environmental friendly at all.

Even though it had dormitories this was definitely a hotel. It is great for trips to Iguazu falls but if you want the ‘feel’ of a hostel in terms of socialising it’s not the place. That being said there were 3 of us together so we didn’t mind it not having a social atmosphere. The breakfast was really good and the pool was massive (although quite dirty). Make sure you have cash when visiting though as the taxis only take cash and you need them to get around as uber doesn’t really work.

Alright hostel if you want a quiet rest for a few days, but the atmosphere is absolutely non-existent. I spent 3 nights here and I was the only one in my 4-bed dorm. It is also far from the main area of Puerto Igazu and you need to get a lift to get over there for shops, bars, etc.
