Guesthouse STEP i Kotor har ett fantastiskt läge precis vid stranden och en kort promenad till Gamla stan. Really nice place. Location is great, a few minutes from the old town and just by the water. Balcony with ocean view. As others have noted, it feels more like an airbnb than a hostel. Not a great place to socialize, but great if you just want to relax. Comfy beds and clean space. Worth noting is that there isn't any staff there round-the-clock and to enter the property/check-in you might have to call the owner. This could pose a problem if you don't have phone service/data. Overall a great stay.

IT HAD BED BUGS whatever you do, do not stay here unless you want to be eaten alive. the worst part was the staff didn’t even seem surprised and instead of apologising offered me a different bed in the same room, and omg more bed bugs. however upon fleeing, we were offered a refund for the rest of our stay.
