The reviews are too harsh, i came here for 4 nights 2nd week June (high season !!) and had a massive 5 bed dorm to myself and one other traveller 2 of those nights. Obviously lucky, but the rooms were clean, loads of outlets, the bathrooms were clean, room was secure and they lock the entrance to the hostel after 11pm, as a solo female traveller, never felt unsafe there - would be great if there was more of an atmosphere, but will definitely return

Really good stay, the reviews I had read were a bit unfair. Service was excellent and the whole place was clean, was great that I had a room to myself but if it were full it would not be ideal as beds are triple bunks with no curtains.

There was no atmosphere or common area to meet people. The security was lax as there were no lockers or a way to secure your things. There was a key to your door, but it was actually hard to lock. Otherwise anyone can just walk right into the hostel. The facilities are old, but functional. The beds are three bunks high, which is extremely loud and could be challenging to get into. No plugs to charge your devices by your bed safely. The shower had nowhere to put your clothes, towels or toiletries
