Atelier D is an artistic residency located in the heart of the Medina of Tunis, which has been considered a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1979.

Atelier D serves as a meeting place for artists from around the world seeking an inspiring space for creation and the exchange of ideas. It also welcomes curious travelers who wish to discover Tunisia and engage with local residents for beautiful experiences and adventures.

Accommodation:
The house consists of three well-equipped bedrooms, and two bathrooms - one connected to a bedroom and the other shared, a terrace, a living room (co-working space), and a spacious patio.
The house is equipped with free Wi-Fi, and the bedrooms are air-conditioned.
Payment is possible only in cash.

The Two staff are great and welcoming, and it's conveniently near edge of medina. HOWEVER, there are two cats who have access to all rooms who will come and rifle thru your luggage when you are away or asleep. As someone deathly allergic to cats, this made it hard to enjoy my stay

It is definitely the best place to stay in Tunis. From the first second entering the house you will feel very welcome. The building is beautiful has a wonderful atmosphere. The room was beautiful, clean and has everything you need (including AC and access to a terrasse). The location is very central, in the heart of the medina, easy to get lost ;) But also easy to find as they pick you up. The owners are two very kind, warm and interesting people that made my stay very special. Thank you!

This is by far the best stay i have ever done. Ever. I was supposed to stay for one night but extended it to a whole week of rest, friendships for life, home cooked food, art, music, stories after stories; all thanks to Walid and Noura, the hosts. Not only did i get my rest, but a side of Tunisia you wonâ€™t find anywhere else. I know I will be back.
