This place was amazing!! Jack and Xiu are great hosts, they picked us up when we arrived, explained the different wall routes and cooked amazing meals for us. They even organised karaoke night! The place has a great location, just a few minutes from town. We got dropped off by Jack every time as it was more convenient. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. The shower has great pressure and is hot. I’d stay here again.

This hostel definitely deserves all the 10 star reviews it has had!! From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt relaxed and at home. The location was stunning and both Jack and Xiu were so kind and hospitable. We had a lovely explore of the water town and a spectacular day walking along the Great Wall, topped off by a delicious home cooked meal from Xiu and some karaoke where Jack completely showed us up. Would 100% recommend and would love to come back!

Jack en Xiu zijn zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame hosts. Ze helpen je graag met wandelingen op de grote muur uitzoeken. Ze hebben breng en haal service naar de grote muur. De grote muur is hier niet druk bezocht. Zelfs een wandeling gemaakt, waar helemaal geen andere toeristen waren. De kamers zijn erg mooi en fijn. Heerlijke bedden. Het ontbijt/lunch/diner waren fantastisch. Er is een koelkast aanwezig met koude drankjes. Ook het contact met andere gasten was leuk.
