Chalok Hostel offers accommodation on Koh Tao, featuring a terrace, bar, and free WiFi throughout. It’s conveniently located within 300 meters of Chalok Baan Kao Beach and 900 meters from Shark Bay. Freedom Beach is 1.3 km away, with Koh Tao’s popular Shipwreck Diving Site 4 km away and Ao Muong approximately 7.8 km from the hostel.

Guests can enjoy drinks at the snack bar. Rooms are air-conditioned with shared bathrooms.

3) Reception working hours: 8:00 – 21:00
Please let us know if you will arrive at the hostel after 21:00.
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash only.
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 3 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, the customer will have to pay one night of the reservation.
6) Breakfast is not included.
7) NO smoking in Room, but have a smoking area.
8) We only accept guests 18 years old or older.

Perfect located if you like it more quiet and close to the beach. Very friendly staff and they help you with everything. Good breakfast and a nice room.

People running hostel are very nice. Rooms are spacious and have curtains. Good facilities. Very small and quiet hostel. Very simple, main area with cafe and front desk then bathrooms and dorms on either side. Front of hostel opens out into the street and dorm room doors do not lock automatically so often is left unlocked, so anyone could walked in. But no problems during our stay and felt relatively safe area.

Staff were sooooo lovely and kind The breakfast was really good options with latte included. Just 20-40baht upgrades for extra with breakfast food. Close to John S viewpoint and freedom beach. Good value for money.
