Casa Hostal La Iguana

Casa Hostel la Iguana is a great place to stay if you're passing through Pereira! It's a small, relaxed house/hostel in a quiet and safe neighborhood about a 30 minute walk from the city. Karen and the team are super friendly and hospitable, great communication, let me check in early after a long bus ride, and put a lot of attention into making sure that I had a comfortable stay. The dorm is very clean and modern, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. I would definitely stay again

La Iguana was one of the nicest hostel experiences we have had while travelling. Although it is small it has everything you need. The Host was very kind and we felt very welcomed by her and her cute dogs 🐶. It is also in a very nice neighbourhood that felt super safe. Overall it was an amazing stay.

literally my single favorite hostel I ever stayed in while in Colombia. The hosts are extremely warm and kind. The dogs are sweethearts that bark because it's their job lol. The area is safe, you can get good food nearby. Local tiendas make cooking easy. The price was amazing to me, nice bed clean showers nice bathroom. A real genuine hostel that feels like a real hostel out together by caring people who like to meet travelers. Spent a month here and would again in the future.
