Maya is a very friendly, helpful and accomodating host. She treated all her guests like her own family. She’s not around all the time, but tends to come every night to entertain and socialize with the guests at the kitchen. The guesthouse has a balcony with a very nice view. The only minor drawback is that there’s only 1 bathroom/shower.

The property is decent and is about a 5-10 minute walk from the Centre. I had a lucky encounter with her husband at the bus station and he was kind enough to drop us to the guesthouse as a courtesy for booking in their accommodation, which kinda felt good with not knowing much about the town at the start.. definitely would recommend to stay at Maya’s Guesthouse. ✌️
