The Red Boat Mälaren

This youth hostel situated in the mid of central Stockholm. It consists of two ships, The Red Boat and the White Boat, which are both permanently berthed on the quay side of beautiful 'S?dermalm'. The reception is on the Red Boat and here you will find a restaurant and bar. We have three sun terrances, one on the Red Boat and two on the White Boat.

All rooms are eqipped with wooden furniture and a closet. Bathrooms for the youth hostel rooms are in the hallway and are shared with other guests. Half of all the rooms have beautiful seaview over the Stockholm City Hall.

Free wifi is available in the communal TV room and in the reception. Each morning a breakfast buffet will be served, which can be purchased for a small extra fee. For lunch and dinner we are proud to offer classic Swedish dishes like pasta and meat balls, fresh shrimp sandwiches and cheese and ham sallads.

Two subway stations, 'Gamla Stan' and 'Slussen' are only three minutes away from the Central Station. They are both less than 650 meters away which makes it easy to get here. From our door it's less than 10 minutes walk to the trendy district 'S?dermalm' where you will find plenty of stores, boutiques, local bars, theatres and dancing places. Else you take a ten minute walk the other way and come to the Old Town where you will find houses from the 1600s.
