Dunas Hostel

Dunas Hostel is located in Alvor, one of the most picturesque villages of Algarve only 500 meters from the beach, with all kinds of traditional commerce, typical restaurants with the best fresh fish and sea food.

In Alvor Beach (Praia de Alvor) you can practice a large variety of aquatic activities such as Windsurf, Kitesurf, Paddle, etc.

5 minutes drive from Portimão Aerodrome where you can enjoy an once-in-a-lifetime skydive experience.
You can enjoy an evening in the lively 'Bar's Street' in Alvor or you can go to Praia da Rocha (10 minutes by taxi) well known for its clubs and bars, open until late hours.


With a total of 13 rooms, 4 twin rooms, being one of them for reduced mobility, 5 dorms with capacity for 4 guests each, 1 dorm with capacity for 6 guests, 2 dorms for 8 guests each and one dorm for 16 guests. All rooms with private bathroom.

The reception works 24hs (Meal breaks: 12:30 – 14:00 | 20:00 – 21:00).
The property may pre-authorise your card before arrival.
Cancellation policy: Standard rate - 72h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or no-show, you will be charged the full amount of your stay.
Non-refundable rate - the guest will be charged the total price of the reservation if they cancel at any time.
Guests may change dates of their reservation: once for their booking, 7 days or more before check-in; for the same or higher price as their original booking; for the same booking conditions and room type.
Check in from 16:00 to 00:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes included except the tourist tax , to be paid at the time of check-in:
01,00 € per person, aged 13 or over, per night for a maximum of seven nights from 01 November to 31 March.
02,00 € per person, aged 13 or over, per night for a maximum of seven nights from 01 April to 31 October.

Breakfast not included.
Quiet hours are between 00:00 and 08:00
No curfew.
