Hostel Casa Montaña is a traditional historic house located in the heart of the city of Salta, residential and quiet area, at the same time, a few blocks by foot, is surrounded by bars, coffee shops and restaurants so you can enjoy all kinds of food.

The hostel is located just 500 meters from the central square where you can visit the museum of Alta Montaña, very close to the bus terminal and Alto Noa Shopping, you can also visit the Salta cableway to Cerro San Bernardo and many more places.

At Casa Montaña, we like to make our guests feel like home! Your check-in and check-out are autonomous for your freedom and without limitations.

When we arrived no one was there to let us in, there was a phone number on the door and the person that picked up told us they were busy and to go to the nearby restaurant and find someone else - there was no mention of this on the booking as it said ‘self check in’. Then they tried to tell us it was double the price agreed because we were travelling as a pair and had to pay per person for the private room which we knew was wrong as we’d been doing this on our travels before. All felt a bit odd.
