Costels chain is part of vasudhaiva hostels that will have presence across south Asia.

Costels Mirissa is a 10-room hotel located just 300 meters from the Coral Beach Whale Watching area and a short 5-10 minute walk (500 meters) from Mirissa Beach.

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a ceiling fan, and a hot water shower.

The property also features two social common areas, including a spacious terrace and an on-site restaurant.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 13:00 to 23:00.
Check out before 11:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash.

The cleanliness is very poor. The staff quoted a higher price when I was paying for the hostel. I am also not satisfied with the level of service. It is a place you might book just for sleeping.

Super good value for money, nice hostel with big, clean rooms. Owner was nice and helpful. About a ten minute walk to the centre and super close to the beach.

We got moved to a villa because they had overbooked which was lovely but there was little communication, the whole family came to greet us and brought their children. Because we move to the villa there was no card accepted. Mosquito nets were appreciated but sharing meant we couldn’t lock the villa so anyone could come in
