Absolute gem in Malang. The Bromo and Tumpak Sewu combo was hassle-free they even provided ponchos and flashlights. The hike down to the waterfall is no joke but our guide carried our phones for safe photos. Hostel energy is super welcoming, think twinkling lights and a shared diary where guests leave doodles. Rooms are basic but spotless, with blackout curtains for those pre-sunrise sleeps. Staff hooked us up with a scooter rental too. Genuinely felt like we were part of something special here.
