The hostel itself is fine BUT the staff are unreal friendly. The dorms are solid get the job done. The privates are the same. But the staff here are actually what makes it. All extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make you happy. Christina, marillia, Luisa, matheus (the best), pedro, Giovanni, Juan and Sebastian. I literally ran out of names because they’re all so amazing. Stay here!!!

Only stayed one night and wish I had longer! The staff were great, high energy, fun vibes and super easy to meet other travellers. Only downside was that my friend and I booked a private room and it was pretty expensive for what it was, but we did book last minute. There isn’t enough room between the toilet and the washroom door so every time you needed to close to door it would slam into the toilet (glass door btw) and the shower partition isn’t quite big enough so the floor got really wet

I only stayed one night at O de Casa but the property was really nice, good location, felt safe, staff were really friendly. Even for the one night it was very social and lots of events happening. I stayed in a 6 person dorm, which hindsight I should have made sure it had AC, that being said the fan only pointed at the other beds so it got quite hot / moist in the room :( I would just recommend a bit more for air circulation! Otherwise they did have good plug ins access, free water station.
