What a dump! Before I arrived I was shocked to get a strange email saying that if I checkin after 8PM I need to pay the wages of the receptionist as they were due to leave. When I arrived I found the place in much worse condition than in the photos. EXTREMELY run down! The showers are tiny alcoves in the bathroom meaning that guests need to undress in front of each other before stepping in. Some guests had problems with this unexpected nudity requirement. This place NEEDS to be audited ASAP!!!!!

I payed in advance to separate my friends and I's beds and they cancelled my reservation because according to them, the payment was not made, but it DID show on my account. I expressed this by e-mail and they asked for my credit card info. to process the payment AGAIN, and when I asked for an explanation they never contacted me again. I lost more that 20 euros on that.

This hostel is not nearly as nice as advertised or previously reviewed. My main complaint has to do with the atmosphere at this hostel. A lot of residents were much older than expected & they expected a quiet atmosphere most hours of the day. This felt odd considering the price of the hostel, amount of people sleeping in one room, and because someone had brought their crying infant child here as well. Also, someone was cooking fish in the kitchen at all times which created an unpleasant smell.
