The history of Kayaköy goes up to 3000 BC. From the antique period remains in the city, Sarcophagi and rock tombs dated to centuries have reached the present day.
Kayaköy also has 350-400 dwelling units each of which is 50 m² in size and has two floors of underground cisterns, which are used as basement floors in the entrance, which do not cover each other in terms of landscape and light.
