great hôtel, amazing location, with very nice staff, the lobby has great attend, the pricing is more than fair, I had a great time, the room looked like it was just recently refurbished! I would go again

The reason for the low rating is not only for the criteria set that can only be experienced after a stay. It is for utter unprofessionalism by the Hotel Carolina staff. My trip was canceled by the hotel 3 hours before my scheduled stay when I was on a flight on the way to Cannes. The reason given was either pay extra money than what was endorsed on the website (that I booked). In case there was an issue with the pricing I expect a decline in booking or at least a cancellation on the same day of booking so that I plan something else. But they waited till the last hour to cancel and spoil my holidays. I would not recommend this place to anyone and I am sure that in 2023 ratings can be bought by fake reviews that this hotel has as 10.0 with such poor services.

Hotel Carolina was perfect! It was only about 60 euros a night, the location was close to the train station as well as all the good restaurants. I was able to check in early and drop off my bags early. The front desk was very kind and helpful and even tried to help me make a dinner reservation. I like that they hold the keys for you so you never have to worry about losing the key to your room. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
