山啄木青年旅館

i stayed two nights there. 10-15 min from Yilan train station. i like the hostel that there is a balcony where i could hang my towel. there are big lockers to lock my luggage, the top of the locker was a perfect small table to put my little stuff, i did not need to put my stuff on the floor. a curtain in every bunk, good privacy. the staff was cheerful and friendly. the lighting and interior design in the common area was so trendy and comfy, i felt like home. wonderful experience.

not much options in Yilan, but this was a good one, clean, ok staff, when I got there there weren't many people, but still managed to talk to and connect with whoever was there even though it was heavier with the locals which were too timid to interact.

Nice clean hostel. Great staff, shared fruit with us. Good kitchen, clean and free coffee, tea, etc. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable. Not far from bus station
