MEANDER strives to enrich your traveling experience with a number of tours and fun events. MEANDER offers its own random tours to show you our favorite but not widely known places of Taipei.

MEANDER Taipei is based in Ximending, which is a traverler’s favorite due to its convenient location. You can find everything you need in Ximending, with over 6000 shops, cafes, tattoo parlors, karaoke, theaters and massage centers. We are located 7 minutes walking distance from Ximen Metro exit 6, surrounded by banks, convenient stores, night market and shopping. We’re also 15 minutes away from Longshan Temple and the Monka district, which is one of the oldest and most historical parts of Taipei.

We are always looking for fun and interesting people to join the MEANDER Crew. Part time, full time and work-exchange program available! Monthly rate is also available.

Reception hour: 08:00-23:00
Check-in time: 15:00-23:00, please make sure you will arrive in time or choose late check in.
Check-out time: 11:00
Luggage room: We can keep your luggage for free during your stay until 22:00 of the check out day.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Check-in time: 15:00-23:00.
Feel free to drop off your luggage first after 08:00 if you arrive early. Also, please make sure you will arrive in time or choose late check in.

2. Check-out time: 11:00.
Late check-out fee is NT$200/hr.

3. Reception hour: 08:00-23:00.
Late check-in after 23:00 will require more information form us due to front desk might be close and only mobile service available, please let us know at least one day in advance. If front desk close at the midnight, we will email you self-check-in instructions on the arrival day.

4. Payment: Cash and Credit Card (Visa, Master card, JCB, UnionPay)
The property reserves the right to charge full amount of the payment before check-in with the credit card details guests provided. If you provide the invalid card, the reservation maybe cancelled automatically without further inform.

5. Cancellation policy:
-Cancellation made 3 whole days before your arrival day, 100% room fee could be refunded.
-Cancellation made between 1~3 days before your arrival day, room fee could be refunded except the first night.
-Cancellation made on arrival day or directly No Show, no fee will be refunded.
-No refund after check-in.
Example: Check-in on Dec 20, and the last day for free cancellation is Dec 16th before 23:59.

6. Elevator available from 2/F onwards. The lighter the packing, the better.

7. No smoking allowed (including balconies and roof top). Violators will be fined NT$10,000 cleaning fee. But we have a smoking area outside hostel.

8. Pets are not allowed.

9. Breakfast not included.

10. As we are an Eco-friendly hostel, kindly note that we do NOT provide single use hotel amenities such as disposable toothpaste/toothbrush in the room initially.

11. When booking multiple beds in dormitory, please kindly understand that we cannot guarantee you will be accommodated in the same room.
