AMAZING! everyone was so helpful with everything, it had a really good vibe, and it's a great place to make friends! I know people always say this, but the staff literally are legends, we stayed in like 30 hostels by travelling, and these guys were by far the best, it was the hostel we stayed at the longest! Can't recommend enough.

One of the staff members Michael is so helpful and friendly, he is very useful and knowledgeable about the local area. There are cats that live in the hostel just in case you don't like them! Rooms are big and have lots of space but the shower area is a little dark and dingy. Overall a great stay.

I cannot say enough about this hostel! When I first arrived after a long two days travel from phuket, the owner Michael was the friendliest face u could hope to find! The hostel is great with a friendly atmosphere making it very easy to make friends as a solo traveller. The owner cannot do enough to help all of his customers and makes everyone so comfortable. A two night stay turned into a six night stay as it has a great market just outside for great cheap street food2

The photos made this place look nicer than it is. The dorms were not great - beds not comfortable and it was loud throughout the night. The staff was really nice and the little roof terrace was cute but that's all I really liked about this place.

Michael is a fantastic host, immediately sits you down and gives you a ma and great recommendations on things to do, places to go and eat. He helps book any adventures you would like to do and can rent mopeds through him and have them delivered and pick up right a the hostel which is super convenient. lots of space in the dorm area. free coffee, tea. Cold water and beer for sale inside. A+ hostel, Big thanks Michael! - Marcus

Great place to stay, wifis great, rooms are clean and comfy, in a good location only downside is that there's not a great common area, but no big deal still managed to meet people, staff were so helpful

The hostel is in a great location in the old town, close to lots of yummy food and cafes. The staff here are some of the friendliest people I've met, and they really make the hostel great. It's fantastic value for money, I'd love to come back

Outstanding service. Michael even took time out to mail me a bag I'd left behind. Highly recommended for any stay in Chiang Mai.

The young guy at reception, Michael, went above and beyond to help us out. Friendliest staff we've experienced in a while. Dorm rooms are basic, clean and quiet. Short red taxi ride or 20min walk into old town. Recommended

Positive: Helpful and friendly staff, close to old town. Clean beds. Negative: They need to clean the toilets more thoroughly and they need better lockers.

Huge pro - the staff here are super-nice!! They'll help you book anything you like and also provide personalized advice to help you enjoy your Chiang Mai to the fullest. :] Simple and inexpensive accommodation. Some cons - the building feels a little old, so shower pressure wasn't always great, for example. There were many Chinese tourists during my stay, so Chinese speakers would've felt much more comfortable, although there were many Americans there too.

Clean, cheap, easy to meet people, good Wi-Fi, and fully air conditioned!! The staff at Little Bird 2 make it though, they are so friendly and call you by name from the minute you walk in the door. There is a breezy rooftop and the lobby is a nice place to escape the heat. The owner, Michael, has lots of suggestions for what to do and tours to avoid. It's near the North Gate Jazz Bar and a really nice street food market. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend it to others!

Lovely hostel! Staff couldn't have been more helpful, they booked everything I wanted to do in chiang mai and when speaking to others on the trips they also got me the best deals as I paid a lot less than others who booked through travel agents. Hostel is very clean and tidy with lots of information and helpful leaflets to help you with the trip. It also has cheap drinks in reception and free teas and coffees which came in very handy! Thank you for the warm welcome. Christina x
