Not the best place I've stayed but not bad at all. Staff was absolutely amazing. Sweet and helpful. I'd come back just for them.

Had a great stay at Little Bird 2, and the staff were excellent. It would have been nice to have a communal area to sit in though.

I had a very good stay here. Very comfortable, a kind of small but air-con available in every room included lobby. Very nice rooftop for chill out. In a good location easy to go anywhere. This is the best hostel i stay so far.

Was a lovely little guesthouse and although it had the space and facilities it was hard to meet people there.

cute kitten, nice staff, met some nice folks. great location. confusing to get to the first time but all good thereafter. bad dorms but you get what you pay for. clean for what it is. no common area to hang out. very small - three floors - no elevators. again, very nice staff.

This hostel is a good deal for your money. Nice, clean rooms with wi-fi and AC, good location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Decent bathrooms, good location in the old city of Chiang Mai. Free tea and coffee and a refrigerator/microwave you can use for your leftovers if you decide to take a cooking class. An adorable kitten also lives in the lobby. GREAT restaurant right down the street called the 3 Little Pigs. Amazing BBQ and other southern and Mexican food. GO!

Stayed for 5 nights. Michael was of great help throughout my stay and the rooms were always clean. Location is just outside the north wall. So, it's close to nearly everything in the city. I did feel a bit left out as all of the other guests were Chinese. So, it had a more exclusive atmosphere and wasn't quite as friendly. That just might have been the time I was there though. Didn't like that there was only one toilet on each floor. I recommend it because the price (200 THB) is a bargain.

Guest House was simple and efficient. Not many areas for socializing, walkable from downtown, but not very close. Overall, not much character, but a bed for a good price.

Decent location, a short taxi ride or a 25-minute walk from the night bizarre. The staff helped us book some great outings and bus tickets and were always willing to answer our questions. We thought our room smelled like cat pee, but the staff found out someone had been eating durian fruit (which smells like cat pee...), and put up a "No Durian" sign right away. Great service! My only complaint would be that there's a cat who lives downstairs, so the entry is a little smelly.

This hostel is in a great location! Close to te big sunday market, lots of stores and shopping and to a cute little grocery store where you can get a lot of different things. The guy at the desk was soooooo helpful. Basicaly anything we needed he was on top of helping us. Water pressure is low in the showers and the beds are a little wobbley but other than that it is excellent and well worth te money.

This hostel was alright, but nothing special. Good location just out of the city near the northgate jazz co-op. And decent showers and lockers. Downsides were there wasn't too much atmosphere or activities going on and barely anyone used the rooftop as a common room which was odd. Also, the doors are really thin so it's very loud in the mornings. The guy at the front desk was pretty awesome and helpful though the others were quite disinterested.

This place was absolutely fantastic! Mike is so helpful. If you do any tours in Chiang Mai consider asking him first because he will give you the right info on what to do and what not to do. It's in a rather quiet part of town and it's near the famous sunday night market.

The owner and (most of the time) receptionist, Michael, is fantastic. Very informative and helpful. The hostel is very clean, and has the only showers that go so hot that I actually couldn't take the full heat. Dorms are nice (bed's a little noisy) but comfortable. Rooftop bar is good for chilling at night. I say go for it! Would definitely come back.

Superb atmosphere, very nice staff, good location. The tours that they sell (sold all over town) might not exactly turn out the way you expect, though...

Like the hostel alot , good air con, and beds have own plugs and lights which is nice. good location just outside the old walls making it easy to get out and about on a bike out of the center of chiang mai to the mountain and national park, or about a 10 min walk if your looking to get into town to the bits where its happenin', Staff always very helpful (big shout out to Micheal!) and the cutest kitten ^_^ !
