Sylvis Hostel Chiangmai

Sylvis Hostel is where you go to feel at home in Chiang Mai. Lounge in our large social area, grab a speciality drink in our top-class cocktail bar, join in on the fun with daily entertainment activities, and enjoy free WIFI and Air-Conditioning (AC).

Sylvis Hostel is located in the heart of Chiang Mai as a convenient base for our wonderful guests. Within a few minutes of walking are Chiang Mai's top sights including temples, night markets, and historical places. Our friendly staff is enthusiastic to assist you travel, transportation, food, activity, & tour recommendations and bookings. Explore Chiang Mai as a local would.

Our world-class cocktail bar opens at 5 PM and closes at midnight every night. Hostel guests and outside guests can choose from our wide-variety of special cocktails made with local Thai ingredients and alcohol. Every night we offer free shots to our hostel guests including our famous flaming rainbow shots. After the bar closes, within walking distance is many bars and dance clubs where you can fully experience nightlife in Chiang Mai.

*We are a social hostel. Loud music plays until midnight every night. If you need to sleep before midnight, please consider staying elsewhere.*

We have private rooms and dormitory-style rooms available for our guests. All bedrooms have AC (air-conditioning). The private rooms feature a Queen bed (with clean linen & duvet blanket), private ensuite bathroom, and AC. The dormitory-style rooms feature Single bunk beds with space for 4-10 people per room. We also have dormitory-style rooms featuring Queen bunk beds. Each Single or Queen bed has a personal curtain for your privacy, individual power outlets, a reading light, clean linen & duvet blanket, and AC. (Ladies-only dormitories are also available).

1) Check in starting at 2:00 PM
2) Check out before 11:00 AM
3) Reception working hours: 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM
4) Payment on Arrival: Cash only
5) Cancellation or amendment must be made 7 days in advance prior to arrival.
6) No smoking in rooms or on the 2nd floor. Designated smoked area is provided.
7) Please don't make a loud noise after 12:00 AM. Our hostel area is quiet zone after 12:00 AM; please be considerate of our residents and neighbors.
8) Alcohol drinks from outside are not allowed.
9) No outside guests allowed in rooms or in the shared hostel area after 12:00 AM.
***No sex allowed in dorm rooms***
11) Guests must be ages 15 years or more.
12) No shoes allowed upstairs or in rooms.
