2 stops to hauptbahnof (main railway station). if you want you can walk to Marien Platz, that's not too much way. this is my 2nd stay at a&o hostels and i am pleased for all. it should be better to serve wifi service free because many of hostels do this service free.

Worst Hostel I have ever stayed in. Rooms were dirty. I couldn't fall asleep because of screaming drunks running around my floor after midnight. Then the next morning before 8 am there were two girls yelling at each other in the hallway for 20 minutes. The staff didn't do anything about it. People were smoking weed outside the window when I was trying to sleep. The line to check in took about 20 minutes. No breakfast. I should have slept under a bridge instead. Avoid at all costs!

Free wifi and free breakfast would be great, but it was far more than what I expected, really liked to stay at the room with my friends.

When we arrived at the hostel, they told us that we arrived an hour before the time we had said in the booking, and for this reason we couldn't have our bed linen. At midnight we wanted our bed linen but they told us that there were too much people in the hostel in that moment and that we had to wait for the bed linen. What kind of reasons is this?We had paid for our bed linen, it's not my problem how many peolpe are or not in the hostel! bad organization. clean your bed linen in advance!!!

The place is alright in general. However, the check-in was terrible. They did not inform us that the key cards need to be used exactly the other way round than it is indicated (for whatever reason) and did not resolve the problem immediately, so we needed to mess around a while before actually getting into our room. After a day, the cards stopped working because - as it turned out - they were activated just for one day although we booked for three days. Everything else was ok.

They didn't clean the room during our stay, and the staff is absolutely unfriendly!! Even if the room is empty, you can't go inside of your room before 15:10 H. If you pay with credit card, it is 4€ extra!

The room was nice, especially since it had a bathroom and deck. No complaints on the upkeep really, they were doing construction on the level floor, but that was fine. All in all, a nice stay.

Staying at this hostel would have been much more pleasant if the staff were nice! They blatantly ignore you when you are standing at the desk or even if noone is around, they just sit there or pretend that they're doing something behind the counter. They are not helpful with information about getting around. The luggage room is a joke, when we went back to retreive our bags after check in there were so many bags in there it was seriously waist deep! Peoples stuff was stolen too. Disappointing!

Worst place I have ever stayed in. My mates room smelt awful and my room had no lights, one of the curtains had fallen down and they had jammed too many beds in the rooms

Many people coming in and out all the time, so security is no good so far. They changed my room without previous information and my bag was in reception. One shorts was missing.

I thought the staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly and the rate was a bit overpriced but overall it is a decent place to stay.

Keep in mind review was of the hostel during the last weekend of Oktoberfest. The line up to check in was half an hour long, when we got up to the room we had to navigate through fire extinguisher foam as someone had gone nuts in the hallway and let one off. There are no sheets in the room and the bathroom was nowhere near clean. If it wasn’t the last weekend of Oktoberfest it would probably be quite nice.

Everything in this hostel is money. The staff is not helpful at all, I understand that we were during Oktoberfest + Bayern-ManCity game, but it is not admissable. It seems that you are annoying them simply for asking them things as parking conditions, ways of moving around… I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody, knowing that there are much better hostels in town as Jaegers and Wombats.
