It is a nice place. It is clean and sometimes that is a rerity. The pool is fantastic. It really felt like home there. There is a large kitchen, cable TV. What more could you ask for? Kathy was Jhonny on the spot for everything. There is also a large frig. for your cold beverage needs. The location is also execellent. You can walk from the Ferry to Amigos.

The hospitality given by Kathy and her family was just wonderful. Having traveled to many countries and visited many hostels, Amigos Hostel Cozumel is among the best I've had the pleasure of staying at. I will certain return to stay here soon. If your trying to decide on the hostel to say at while visiting Cozumel, choose Amigos.

AMIGOS IS A LITTLE GEM, GREAT POOL, GREAT HOSTESS, LARGE COMMUNAL KITCHEN AND SITTING AREA WHICH MAKES IT A REALLY SOCIAL PLACE TO BE, THE FACILITIES AND LOCATION, SITUATED IN A REALLY COOL LOCAL NEIGHBORHOOD AWAY FROM ALL THE TOURISTS BUT STILL ONLY A 15 MINUTE WALK FROM THE PORT AND DIVING CENTRES ETC.

A few blocks away from all the action, but that made it very quiet. I still trekked too and from the pier with 25 KG of gear. Great pool, great site, wonderful hostess.

Have and still am enjoying my stay here immensely. Wonderfully laid back place with hammocks (awesome), pool, functional kitchen (that I haven't been bothered to use yet), cozy sofa setting, unobtrusive TV and very cool garden. The location is perfect for me - not too far and not too close. Dorms/facilities are simple, though well maintained, well kept and clean! Kathy, the owner, is so friendly and helpful and has an amazing knowledge of the island and its dive sites and seems to know everyone.

Very nice hostel, the host is very welcoming, she has explain us all we need to know about cozumel, and was available after for more information. It's a beautiful place: swimming pool, cut garden, hammacs, very close to everything.

First of all it was far away from the pier and from everything. The lady has all this rules and you feel that it is your mom tellig you off! I did not feel rease safe going back during the night on the lonly streets, but that's a matter of the city, I guess. I think she could charge a little more and offer at least a continental breakfast, maybe 200 a night and give you something to eat. The good this they have are all the boardgames and the pool. We all guests complained about this hostel.

Kathy was very friendly, helpful and informative. We really enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we have is that the location is far from the ferry in walking distance.
