I’ve stayed for 5 nights. Overall the hostel was ok. The host is nice and she gave me a ton of recommendations. I liked the location, it’s on local neighborhood and that’s cool because you can go to places that you wouldn’t go if you were there and experience something different. It’s 15 min walk from Main Street so I needed to rent bike. My big downside from the hostel is the AC. the hours are 22-8 and Cozumel is VERY HOT place so if I wanted to rest after a dive I couldn’t do it the room.

The space was nice and the AC in the dorms was great. The owner was a bit overbearing (gave me a whole spiel about the island right when I arrived and would have rather just been able to relax, somewhat rudely chastised me for having my backpack on the floor next to my bed out of the way of the one other person staying there). But the pool and other facilities are nice. Not the most social but that was what I wanted for a week of diving.
