The Hostel is in a good location. This is the only advantage of this place. When it comes to cleanliness, it is a total fail. The carpets n the room and all around the hostel are dirty. The worst is the shared bathroom, where big fluffs of hair are on the floor. I couldnt shower. Kitchen is also dirty. Breakfast is very poor. The stuff doesnt give out a bill after payment. If you want to store your bags you pay 2euros and they keep it in public area. For me no value for money. Cant reccommend!

The breakfast was the best of the hostel. The kitchen doesn't have oven, the bathrooms were very very small and a bit dirty. The hostel is situated 20 minutes walk from city center and you have a supermarket just one block from there. They charge me for leaving my baggage in the recepcion because they didn't have a luggage room but anyway they charge me with 2 euros! Someone stole an ipad in another hostel and then the criminal stayed in my room and i was unsecured really.

Bathrooms were terrible!!!!! Seriously, they looked like a swamp, they smelt awful and they were so dirty that i think i smelt cleaner BEFORE i took the shower.. and what about the cats in the hallways to prevent rats? I'll never come back out there again. The worst experience in my whole life.

This hostel was located in an excellent spot. Unfortunately the place lacked character and space. There was no common room to hang out in, and a very small kitchen. the dorm rooms were large but no storage. The bathroom was separate from the shower and you had to walk through the kitchen to get to the shower, not great for the girls. but good for just a night to sleep.

For those who are on a sightseeing tour of Amsterdam than this hostel is a good place to start. You can walk all the way down from Van Gogh Museum to Amsterdam Central passing by many places of interest along the way. The tram stop and a supermarket is nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast and internet is ok. The heater is also warm enough. But don't expect too much, it is still a budget hostel. (",)

The price was fair, the Hostel ist not the greatest that i´ve ever seen, but the staff was very friendly. It´s not in down town, but it´s really one of the best choices if you want to visit Van Gogh and Rijk Museum, because it´s no more than 200 meters away. And in 20 minutes you can reach all the important places, so i would recommend it.

Hostel is less than 5min walking to the TRAM station where do u get TRAM to the central station and to the central area and red light district, less than 5 min to the Square where Van Gogh Museum is, 10minutes walking to the Heineken Experience. The Staff is very helpful. The unique problem is they don't have locker, if u fell desconfortable to leave your things at room I dont recoment it, but I didnt have any problem whit this, the other guests was very friendly to. They have CTV outside rooms.

The staff was super nice, the location is good...very close to I amsterdam, and you can walk everywhere..far from the "center", but I think it´s good since there aren´t lots of people making a lot of noise! I disliked the bathrooms and toilets... there was NO space to take a shower and change, since the bathoom is super tiny - and for me this is a problem, since you are in a hostel and you can´t change in the room, you need a "private" space. also the common area and kitchen are too small

Great character, friendly staff, and very easy to meet people here with the communial table where everyone eats breakfast/other meals. It's about a 20 min. walk from city center, but the walk is not bad, even in poor weather. rooms are cozy, pillows and blankets are good quality, and staff learns your name and uses it. Breakfast: coffee/tea 2 types of bread, jams, nutella, peanut butter (a big plus!) and spreads

Excellent hostel. All the staff were very nice. The breakfast is very good. The place is in a good location, close by a supermarket that sells food and stuff for very affordable prices. It was a very pleasant stay. The beds are very comfortable. Would recommend this place and stay there again.

Good: Generally nice hostel, big garden, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, great location- close to everything, tv in common area. Bad: No luggage store room- they keep the bags out in the open all day in the reception area, no lockers/safe area, small common area, tiny shower. I would stay here again, but it's nothing special.

we stayed in a 10 bed mixed dorm. the key of the door is like identification card so if you insert the card and open the door for more than 3 seconds the door will ring loudly!! its very annoying when there is somebody sleeping in the room(and there's ALWAYS somebody sleeping even though it's only 8 o'clock in the evening) price of the room per night is quite cheap in Amsterdam, especially with breakfast.
