Still not convinced? Our hostel is located right next to Sarphatipark, in one of Amsterdam’s coolest and most vibrant neighborhoods: De Pijp.
We’re just a short stroll from the iconic Albert Cuyp Market, the Heineken Experience, and within biking distance of everything else that makes Amsterdam special, from canals and cozy cafés to buzzing nightlife and hidden gems.

And yes, we’re in a beautiful, classic Amsterdam building. That means narrow staircases, lots of character… and no elevator. So be ready for a bit of a climb but don’t worry, we’re always happy to help with your luggage when you arrive!

Cat lovers, rejoice—and allergy-sensitive guests, please take note! Our fluffy house cat Nico loves to greet everyone with his cute charm and happy purrs.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay. The staff were lovely; it felt like staying at a friends' place while also feeling professional and well organised! Our room of 12 was comfortable, with enough space not to feel packed, and good views out window. Bathrooms were clean and numerous enough to be practical. The hostel is very social, but with a nice balance; though there were drinking games and nights out every evening, there was enough space for us non-drinkers to hang out and chat.

*Jenna is the heart of the hostel* I can be a nervous traveller, and upon meeting the OneFam staff (esp Jenna), I felt at ease. I feel safe with Jenna. She is so kind, gentle and bubbly. She’s such a legend! She really goes above and beyond to support everyone who stays here. Honestly, we would pay a lot of money to have hosts as kind and comforting as Jenna. In the next 20 years we hope to stay at OneFam, with all our friends, and the friends we are sure to make there. - Flo & Claude

The best experience for my first time at a onefam hostel! Jenna was so welcoming when I first arrived and all the staff were amazing throughout my stay (especially Lili, Nova, Sam, Georgia, David). I loved the surrounding neighborhood and facilities were great. Make sure you pick OneFam Amstel for the best vibes in Amsterdam!!
