The room was right over a club and incredibly loud and bright at night. There were no lockers to secure belongings in. The bathroom was disgusting.

Staff make sure your bag is safe if you leave it for the day; no lockers, but they tag it beside registration. They were also fine when I came back late to check in officially. Really just a place to sleep though, so I can't say much about the common room atmosphere.

They over booked our beds, told us to go down the street and that we would get a refund. The did not refund us and charged us extra saying even though they over booked us, we technically did not cancel the reservation in time. Disgustingly dirty and the staff was the worst I've ever encountered ever. I never submit reviews but these guys deserve NO business.

Overall, the stay was fine. There are no lockers, but if you need something that needs to be locked, the owner will keep your belongings in a locked closet. You are given a number to redeem your belonging when you leave again. There is a free breakfast consisting of peanut butter and toast and free coffee and tea. The cleanliness was decent--it wasn't spectacularly clean but it also wasn't dirty either. The shower, though, was prone to flooding the whole bathroom. This was annoying.

Stayed at the hostel for about 5 nights and have no reservations about making another reservation to stay here again: the staff were very open, friendly and interactive with all the guests. Location is superb for those looking to enjoy the sites in the day and the night life later on. I was travelling alone and for the price, this place made it work for me!

It was the worse hostel I've ever stayed, the bathroom was full of hair. I could not spend the night here after my horrible shower experience. It is not even cheap too! Although it's location is great, it certainly does not worth 30 euros.

The Hostel was in a great location! Very central. The staff was quite nice.. although lots of people having troubles including myself as I only wanted 1 night but I accidentally booked 2 and they still made me pay it.. it worked out anyway but it kinda pissed me off for about 1 minute. Not the cleanest but can't really expect too much for the price and location. Also they only take cash!! which kinda sucks.. but make sure to have some when you check in!

Cleanness and tidiness are really poor. It's also very noisy at night. However, the location is great for those who are seeking nightlife fun.

Check in time was supposedly at 12, but arrived with our packs and was told that they had to clean the rooms until 2 therefore no where to leave our packs and no lockers. The staff seemed very unorganised and had several loud arguments with the customers. Everyone in the foyer were complaining about the standards.

Great location and clean rooms in the very heart of Leidseplein. Very friendly staff with a lot and good recommendations.. Free breakfast and free wifi was a big plus as well. Had an excellent stay, definitely staying again!! :D

It is a hole. Dirty, broken , old impression. No air in rooms because the bed were in front of the windows and as you are in the centre you can hear the party noise all night. For 90 € for 2 nights definively too expensive. Free brekfast means: untoasted toastbrad with only peanutbutter and strawberry jam. Coffee or Tea. BEST PART: You HAVE TO clean your own dishes!!! beds and sheets were old and fuzzy!! Common bathroom a nightmare, second morning was not cleaned. Horrible!!!

The only good thing I can say about this place was the location. Aside from that this was by far the worst hostel I have stayed at. The staff were CONSTANTLY coming into my room for seemingly random reasons. There were no lockers in the room I stayed in. The shower leaked so much that even if you were careful a small pool of water would form on the floor that never drained. The whole place seemed very run down. The free WiFi was ok though and it was relatively quiet at night.

No lockers to store our things, they charge to leave luggage after check-out, and our room was never cleaned in 3 days (all they did was trade a used blanket from the bunk below mine with the blanket on my bed!) "Free breakfast" is just toast. There is only one helpful staff member, the rest have no idea how to answer any questions about Amsterdam. Location isn't bad, located right along a strip of bars, but you can stay closer to the station for a similar price, and get a much better experience

It was a really bad experience, they had to reallocate me into 3 different hostels. I had reservation for two nights and I've almost got without a room for the second night because they didn't manage it properly. Terrible place to go.

we have stayed there with my friends(in total 2guys and 3girls),the hostel is very well situated but the service(the guy at the reception didnt want to help us with our problem-the 6th friend couldn't come with us to Amsterdam because she was ill,and he said that we have to pay for her as well or we have to find an other hostel...) wasn't the best of my life. the guy was hostile with us,i think.he said that we'll have to change the room after the first night. and it wasn't superclean the bathroo

DONT GO TO THIS HOSTEL A (short) list of reasons 1/ when we arrived, we had to wait 30min before someone could help us 2/ after 30min, staff didn't know if a room was available for us (although we booked) and which was our room 3/ cash only. so you have to go to an ATM and withdraw 4/ never seen a staff so inefficient, slow, and useless (didn't know anything about the city) 5/ after the 1st night, my bed had been taken by someone else and I had to wait 30min to change and I could continue
