It was a really bad experience, they had to reallocate me into 3 different hostels. I had reservation for two nights and I've almost got without a room for the second night because they didn't manage it properly. Terrible place to go.

we have stayed there with my friends(in total 2guys and 3girls),the hostel is very well situated but the service(the guy at the reception didnt want to help us with our problem-the 6th friend couldn't come with us to Amsterdam because she was ill,and he said that we have to pay for her as well or we have to find an other hostel...) wasn't the best of my life. the guy was hostile with us,i think.he said that we'll have to change the room after the first night. and it wasn't superclean the bathroo

DONT GO TO THIS HOSTEL A (short) list of reasons 1/ when we arrived, we had to wait 30min before someone could help us 2/ after 30min, staff didn't know if a room was available for us (although we booked) and which was our room 3/ cash only. so you have to go to an ATM and withdraw 4/ never seen a staff so inefficient, slow, and useless (didn't know anything about the city) 5/ after the 1st night, my bed had been taken by someone else and I had to wait 30min to change and I could continue

It's an ok hostel, but it's not a great place to stay if you're trying to sleep, leave anything securely, or looking for a clean place. The hostel is right above a night club and there's another night club across the street that plays music loudly until 5:30am. It's horribly loud and very difficult to sleep. The shower/toilet doesn't really have a dividing area so the bathroom was always soaked and dirty. They never had soap either. The staff was friendly/helpful, but it's not worth the cost.

The location is excellent, the price is fine, BUT: there are no lockers, and even though I took my bag with me all the time and literally slept hugging it I had money stolen from me somehow. So the lack of a "safe place" in this hostel seems like a drawback to me that is not worth it. Aside from that: mold in the bathroom and bathroom flooded as soon as someone showers; very simple breakfast; run-down interior; noisy. So, an okay place if you're on a low budget. Would not really recommend though

Two beds in the room had been slept on. Bathroom was not really clean. Instead of two sheets we only got one. There was mould in the bedroom and bathroom and a lot of mice. The breakfast was very poor (cheap white bread from plastic bag with jam or peanut butter) There were no lockers. We made a reservation for two nights but had to switch rooms, there was no safe place to put our luggage. it was impossible for the manager to provide a decent invoice because he wanted to go home.

We liked the hospitality of the staff. The hostel is well located for tourists. The only inconvenience was mould on walls and window frames (room 12) and that the room smell of fish

Check in was very slow and the booking split in 2 parts, no toilette paper! Not enough toilette and showers! £10 deposit for the key is not that cheap, only one member of the staff was doing an amazing job but all the rest was not very interested on their job! The night guy was basically sleeping and twice I had to let other guests in as he didn't hear the bell! At check out time my €10 deposit was hardly found as it was left on the desk somewhere. Very nice location and good value for the mon

The it's ok if you are not too picky. We only stayed there for a night and were not much inside of the hostel. The only thing I think could be improved is the breakfast. Otherwise everything was fine and the location is very good.

Great place to have fun on night. So, if you want to sleep early earplugs are usefull . Also have a bad smell in the toilets sometimes. The staff is very nice. it's a perfect place if you are with friends.

Loved it, such a great position. Close to whatever you need in the city. Fareed at the reception is exceptional, he gave me such a great advices. A place to be especially if you're looking for a great value for money. I definitely recommend it.

Not the best hostel. It is located well, but is noisey and run down. They add to the cost upon arrival and seem a little unorganised. We got put into the wrong room, but staff then felt with this once we informed them.

Like others have said, the location is excellent, everything what a tourist needs is near. I'd say that this hostel is maybe more suitable for younger travelers, because Leidseplein is quite loud place. And there is a disco very near the hostel. The staff is also good. On the other hand: While we're there, the window in the room couldn't be closed, so it wasn't excatly warm in the room. Also, there should be lockers in rooms. And it's not excatly the cleanest place to stay!
