Great service from staff, the hostel was cleaned regularly with all the facilities I required. Currently undergoing some improvements eg. painting, new floors etc but this had no impact on my room or stay. Could do with some safes or a place to lock valuables but overall an excellent place to stay in the best location (although sometimes a bit noisey when you have the windows open).

The staff on arrival were rude, unfriendly and unhelpful however the guy that took over later was much better. The hostel is basic with poor facilities but seemed clean enough.

Hostel was ok but the showers were disgusting, so much mold I wouldn't even take one.

The staff was not organised at check in. No lockers in the rooms. 3 euros for leaving 1 bag in the luggage room is TO EXPENSIVE. Toilets awayls smelling bad.

Its in a good location in the food district...about a 10-15 minute walk to the center. Nice people who work there and the breakfast is just toast, but it is nice they do it

No bar. The sheets were clean in the rooms, but the actual hotel just seemed rundown, carpets were obviously very old and used, the building just in general was in pretty sad shape. The bathroom was mostly clean, but there was mold growing on the ceiling - not enjoyable to see when you're taking a shower. Since it was queens weekend, they charged us a LOT - over 70€ a night, and for what we got, it was not worth that. The only thing decent was the location.

Cool hostel located right in the middle of Leidseplain. All the necessary facilities: free wifi, free breakfast, cool chill out area with tv, clean rooms and bathrooms. Easy to get to via tram and has a coffee shop directly below it ;)

This hostel was not a good experience. THe dorms and bathrooms were dirty, the place had a lot of potheads and the staff was extremely unhelpful. The free breakfast was unhygeinic. the only possible plus point was that it was located bang in the middle of the city and was easy to get to.

Hotel Leidseplein is an average hostel with no fancy feautures but a great location. You're in the middle of everything. The doorms have great space and each have a private bathroom (they are not in the hall), but unfortunately the bathrooms are not so clean. The staff helped us out where we needed them. The price of 40 € for a dorm bed is immense I think, but also it is probably quite normal for a weekend and a central hotel. I would stay there again.

Great place to stay right in the middle of many bars, clubs, and coffee shops. Staff very helpful and friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hostel to others and would love to stay there again sometime. However there is a lot of late night street noise considering it sits on top of a late night bar and club, so if you like to go to bed early this hostel is probably not for you.

Location is good~juste near the museums~But it was not clean!~When i entered my room, there was no bed clean and new! I imagine that there was someone else just left and the staff didn\'t change it! The breakfast is bad too! Just bread and jam!
